AFL Round 10 2011 Results

Apart from Collingwood winning at home, every other game of the AFL Round 10 2011 was won by the away team. Sydney Swans just got home against an improved North Melbourne side by 1 point but apart from that the other games were basically one sided affairs. Geelong Cats were easy winners over the Gold Coast Suns, with Garry Ablett facing his old team remaining on top of the AFL Ladder 2011. Both Adelaide teams were involved in upsets in round 10 with Port Adelaide winning their second game of the AFL 2011 season against Richmond in Darwin and Brisbane won their second game defeating the Adelaide Crows.

The match of AFL round 10 was between North Melbourne and Sydney Swans. The Kangaroos started with a 20-0 lead but innacurate kicking cost them the match.

Collingwood coasted in their win against the West Coast Eagles with Dale Thomas kicking 2 and taking a screamer best on ground.

Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson said after the game he was just happy with the 4 points and praised defender Josh Gibson who kept Barry Hall quiet for the whole game.

Winners in AFL Round 10 2011 were: Carlton, Sydney Swans, St Kilda, Geelong Cats, Port Adelaide, Brisbane, Collingwood and Hawthorn with Essendon having a bye in Round 10 2011.
